As President and Founder of Shopworks, Inc.—the international design and retail consultancy she launched in 1992—she is one of the few authorities who has personally worked every link in the retail chain: maker, operator, designer, leasing executive, and brand launcher. She has owned and operated her own retail locations, manufactured her own line of jewelry, and designed the stores, kiosks, and fixtures behind more than $150 million in sales. She has launched hundreds of brands across virtually every retail category and spent five years inside a shopping center developer helping launch specialty leasing programs, retail development, and permanent leasing—giving her a landlord's-eye command of how centers are built and how brands win the right space. Today she advises retailers, developers, and emerging brands in airports and shopping centers, across the full arc of retail growth—store and fixture design, merchandising, brand launches, site and channel strategy, omnichannel programs spanning permanent inline, automated retail, commonarea retail, e-commerce, and digital—with clients across the world; from central and south America, Europe, the Russian Federation, Canada, the Caribbean and beyond.
